The highlights of Stage 2 – 104 days condensed into 1:40 mins. If only the voyage had been this easy!
It’s pretty dynamic, so get ready, brace yourself, pay attention, sit back and enjoy – here we go….!
Roz Savage Pacific Row Stage 2 Highlights
All due credit to Dawn Pasinski – hasn’t she done an amazing job?! Huge thanks also to ScubaDrew and Ray Hollowell for the stunning underwater and aerial shots, and Conrad Wade for the beautiful arrival footage.
THAT WAS G R E A T !!!!!!
That was great! As for your retrospective, how about some insight on how the first shower feels after so many days at sea? I’m thinking it must have been heavenly! 🙂
Brava Dawn. High energy and captivating from the beginning fly by to Roz’s coconut nods …
especially like the melding of the music with Roz’s dance at the equator. Love it! Brava, Roz!
What a lovely start to my day!
That was awesome!!
P.S. On the subject of the low-res photos and video, you might re-post the photos in higher resolution, now that you’re back. And the Flickr collections don’t cover Stage 1, let alone Stage 2, that I can tell.
Hmm… Maybe “International Day of the Bottom” should stay low-res, now that I think about it!
Woot! Thanks, Dawn. Very cool.
Love the Hawaii Five O theme song. It reminds me of my paradise lost – Kohala, Hawaii. It makes me want to go back to the big island.
The theme of the video is excellent. The written highlights pass too quickly for one to actually read them, especially for someone who might be looking at the video and learning about the voyage for the very first time.
I agree with Nancy and add that the rapid zoom of the icon is distracting – and that’s apart from the fact that I’m not impressed with the icon anyway because it doesn’t look anything like Roz and seems to be wearing a horse-rider’s safety helmet.
Loved the video!
I finally figured out what resonated with me regarding your welcoming Roz. It took some time for I did a great deal of researching.
I have Celiac Disease which is an intolerance of gluten which is in wheat, rye and barley. I didn’t find out until 5 years ago. My body and autoimmune system has been compromised as a result.
I researched everything trying to figure out why your experience was resonating with me. The last thing was the drink that was served to you. I researched the health benefits of coconuts. I found out that this food could greatly enhance my health and well being. I wouldn’t had been aware of it if I hadn’t witnessed your arrival at Tarawa. Thank you!
Nancy
That was a good video. Props to all involved. Now go to Denmark eat some good food and drink good drink. Then go back and row some more!
Luck and Love

Hi Nancy – you’re welcome! Glad to be of service. I had heard that the young coconut juice is reputed to be very healthful. And it is delicious!
During World War II it was actually injected into soldiers. I can’t believe all the health benefits. In some places on earth it is called the “tree of life”. It is funny how at times certain things vibrate. I am going to give it a go and hope for the best.
In my mind it all goes to show that even though we are all individuals we are truly all connected.
Thanks again….
Fun video and love the very playful graphics. Thank you!! You are an inspiration to me! I will be following you through your adventures while I work to fulfill my own dreams!
